For cruising the Mediterranean waters in true European style and luxury, we have another contender among the ranks of the yachts. Based in Spain, this yacht is a unique combination of space, luxury, and performance. Built by Mafasea in 1995, the yacht underwent extensive refitting in 2005. Today, she is recommended as a five star yacht for a dream voyage.
Features
The yacht features a style of living and decor that is distinctly European. With clean hull lines she sports open and sweeping decks. The main salon has white walls and overheads, a large table, comfortable sofas and pale wood cabinetry stand out on the dark cabin sole. A stereo system with CD/DVD playability and a TV completes the entertainment options in the main salon. There is also a library with a good array and variety of books which you can enjoy reading in the lounge.
The yacht also houses five air conditioned cabins, each with their own heads with vanities. They come with double beds, televisions, and shower facilities. Three cabins are located on the starboard side and the other two are aft. One feature of the Fortuna that sets her truly apart is her obstruction free, smooth, and expansive decks. An al fresco dining space has been created aft of the cock pit with comfortable cushions and a capacity to seat ten guests.
The main crew quarters and the galley along with an additional crew cabin are present to the forward and port side of the salon, respectively. The yacht also features what has been called the ‘aft beach’ which is actually a second cockpit for the guests. Located just 8 inches above the water and furnished with sunning cushions, this is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the toys. There are two smaller tables too on this aft beach where you can enjoy drinks while watching a scenic and romantic sunset.
Speaking of toys, we come to the tenders and toys on board. The Fortuna is equipped with a 3.5 meters semi rigid dinghy, snorkeling equipment and fishing gear. A swimming platform has also been constructed on board. The three men crew are captained by Mr. Antonio Escribano who is a Regatta expert and an experienced sailor. This is a highly recommended yacht for luxury vacations or even corporate meetings.

The overall length of this yacht is 25.2 meters. It has a beam of 5.85 meters with a draft of 3.8 meters. With its five cabins, it can accommodate 10 guests. It is powered by a single 175 horsepower Gener engine and manned by a three member crew. It has a top speed of 11 knots and a cruising speed of 4-5 knots. The Spanish yacht was refitted in 2005 and comes along with an auto pilot feature also.
