Designed by London’s famed Conran Design Studio, the T60 Aura produced by British boatmaker Sealine is already making waves in the luxury yacht market. This stylishly designed private yacht comes with all the design features and amenities that one would find in any modern day yacht. Design of the yacht is both compact and contemporary. Someone who is familiar with boat design would recognize the ‘loud’ Conran design features that the T60 Aura possesses, at the very first look.

The typical Conran design features that this boat possesses include a clean modern interior decor which is often seen in various Conran designs. The boat has an open plan design. Features like natural oaks, light finishes, linear form and long clear lines complements this open plan beautifully and gives the illusion of extra light and space. Design of the T60 Aura bears every visible sign that a modern yacht should have. On the inside, a teak laid cockpit, an L-shaped leather sofa and a handcrafted coffee table completes the glamorous look of the interior.

Most important part of any moving thing is its powerplant. The Aura is powered by two Volvo Penta Diesel D13 engines with each of them churning out a whopping 900 HP apiece for a total power output of 1800 HP. With so much horsepower at its disposal, the Aura can gallop at a maximum speed of 33 knots/hour. A rear facing radar arch will give the pilot and the navigator a full 360 degrees situational awareness.
But it is on the inside that Aura comes truly alive and it is there that Aura truly looks like a luxury yacht. A striking full-width master stateroom with bespoke Japanese maple wall makes the Aura’s interior that much more classy. Natural oaks have been used in all the furniture. Handcrafted coffee table and L-shaped sofa provides the much needed rustic look to the saloon area. Teak has been used extensively in the cockpit area. The cockpit of the T60 Aura also features Sealine’s Extended Cockpit System (SECSTM). The flybridge area has a mini-gallery which can accommodate 8 people. Two additional skylights over the lower helm on the starboard side provide extra lighting to the interior.

Conran seems to have outdone themselves with the T60. This some of the best work Conran has done till date. Another high point is its engines. The two powerful Volvo engines makes the boat run smoothly even in choppy waters.
